Maria Lourdes Cardenas "Lulu", 52, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Mrs. Cardenas is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Lopez and Anita C. Lopez. She is survived by her; children, Ana Gabriela Lopez, Alejandra Cardenas, Sergio Leonel Cardenas and Cristina (Juan) Ruiz; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Molina, Jose Roberto Hernandez, III, Anahi Michelle Tapia, Luis Angel Cardenas and Juan Manuel Ruiz, III; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
