Maria N. Pena, 76, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Pena was preceded in death by her husband: Oscar Pena, children: Rosa Delgado and Teresa Pena. She is survived by her children: Juan (Theresa) Pena of Laredo, Martha Melendez of Laredo, Olga (Bobby) Palomino-Loving of New Mexico, Oscar Pena, Jr., Carmen A Pena, Elsa P. Salinas, Pablo Pena and Amado Pena all of Laredo, grandchildren: Bobby Palomino, Steve Melendez, Martha Arredondo, Ana Delgado, Rosie Palomino, Manuel Delgado, Jr., Pricilla Pena, Dennise Pena, Marisol Melendez, Rosendo Melendez, J.J. Delgado, Oscar Salinas, Lucas Palomino, Robby Palomino, Johnathan Reyes and Jessica Reyes, nephew: Jose E. (Rosa) Pena, niece :Laura Pena and 9 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to her home care provider Rosie Bernal and her great friend: Maria Sandoval. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to San Francisco Javier Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
