I will forever remember my grandmother as a warm, gentle soul. Like my late mother, she always seemed to put her personal interests aside for the sake of others. As a father now myself, this has been an enduring lesson. Abuela, I will forever have you and mom in my heart.. your grandson Eddie.

My grandmother Maria was such a gentle and caring person. I will always remember her as a creative free spirit ready to tell a story, enjoy music, reading, art, and all that life had to offer. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passion as an artist and along with my late mother Julia were very supportive of my educational pursuits. I will miss my grandmother very much....
