Mario Alberto Covarrubias, 56, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Mr. Covarrubias was preceded in death by his father Mario C. Covarrubias and brother Manuel De Jesus Covarrubias. He is survived by his wife of 37 years of marriage, Rosa I. Covarrubias; children, Rosa (Jose Juan) Molina, Mario Alberto (Alma) Covarrubias, Jr., Irasema (Oscar) Garza and Xitlalic (Hector) Hernandez.; grandchildren, Danely, Oscar, Jr., Denise, Jarel, Andrea, Amanda, Mario, Hector, Jr. and Emanuel; mother, Beatriz Covarrubias; brother, Pedro (Rosa Maria) Covarrubias; sisters, Beatriz (Javier) De Leon, Aurora Covarrubias, Maria Santa (Pedro) Ortiz, Carmen (Emanuel) Bernal and Dora Alicia (Martin) Gutierrez; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Covarrubias will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 4:00pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm officiated by pastors Julia Barba and Enrique Duarte. Funeral arrangements are by Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, Texas.
