Mario Mena, 76, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010. Mr. Mena was preceded in death by his parents; Mariano Mena and Galdina Lopez, step father; Jesus De La Rosa. He is survived by his wife of 50 years of marriage; Maria M. Mena, children; Alma Rosa (Jaime) Cadena, Hector Ramiro (Guadalupe) Mena, Amparo Mena, Violeta Valdez, Arturo (Rosa) Mena, Galdina (Gerardo) Araiza, Maria Magdalena (Margarito) Flores, Jose Mena and Celia (Vidal) Villarreal, 29 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and brother; Jesus (Felipa) De La Rosa. Visitation will be; Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to San Agustin Cathedral. Holy mass will be celebrated at 10am. Interment will follow to Jardin de los Angeles in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Pallbearers will be; Hector Ramiro, Arturo Mena, Jaime Cadena, Jose Mena, Juan Cadena and Gerado Araiza.
