On Sunday, October 10, 2021 our beloved Marta Rosario Del Valle entered the Gates of Heaven to be with our Lord. Marta was born on November 29, 1940. She lived in Laredo all her life and attended LISD schools. She was a nature loving individual and her favorite flower was the Sunflower. She was a parent volunteer for four years at John Z. Leyendecker Elementary School. Marta loved to watch detective and fire fighter series on television. She loved to read movie star magazines. She had a high devotion to Our Lady of San Juan Del Valle. Marta will be dearly missed by all her friends and most especially her family.

Marta is preceded in death by her parents Mrs. Maria Luisa Del Valle and Mr. Julian Del Valle.

She is survived by brother Julian Del Valle, Jr. and sister Patricia (Luis) Hernandez. Her only daughter Dinorah De Los Santos. Her grandson Lorenzo Salazar, Jr., granddaughters Samantha (+Craig) Epps and Kassandra (Jesus Sanchez) Solis plus 9 great grandchildren, Elienai, Jana, Derek, Jesus, Diego, Aalyha, Novah, Amira and Emory and her niece; Duvina Alvarado.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 15, 2021 from the funeral home to Christ the King Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be: Julian Del Valle, Jr., Luis M. Hernandez, Lorenzo Salazar, Jr., Jesus Sanchez, Jesus A. Ruiz, Jr., and Diego A. Ruiz.
