Melania Hernandez, 57, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, August 27, 2020. Ms. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents; Hilario Hernandez and Maximina Hernandez, brother; Martin Hernandez, and uncle; Damian Gurdillo.
She is survived by her children; David (Magdalena) Hernandez, Maria Noemi Hernandez, Anita (Manuel Valdez) Hernandez, Richard (Lorraine) Hernandez, and Jimmy (Alejandra) Hernandez, grandchildren; Aaron, Ethan, Manuel, Marcos, Matthew, Miah, Isabella, Sofia, Ricky and James, siblings; Teodora Hernandez, Mario Hernandez, Adelfa Ponce, Fausta Hernandez and aunt; Amada Hernandez Marquez; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from the funeral home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.

She was an integral part of our family for many years, and even though my siblings and I have have long since grown up, we continue to share fond memories of her time with us.
