Micaela Mendoza, 86, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 18, 2013, at a local hospital surrounded by family. She was a great mother and an exceptional grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Tomas Gonzalez, her daughter, Sylvia D. Ledezma and granddaughter, Jessica S. Mendoza. She is survived by her son, Leonardo (Rosa) Mendoza, Jr., her sister, Julia Alvarado, her grandchildren, Marina Rangel, Jesus T. Ledezma, Gina Sauceda and Jesse L. Mendoza. Also surviving her are her great-grandchildren, Luis Rangel Jr., Miguel V. Rangel, Brenda L. Ledezma, Brandon L. Ledezma as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to San Luis Rey Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
