Minerva Castillo Garcia, 84, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Mami's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. But her legacy and memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador Castillo & Guadalupe Roque; brothers, Jesus Castillo, and Reynaldo Castillo.

Minerva is survived by her children, Jesus (Maricela) Garica, Maribel (Tomas+) Rodriguez, and Oscar Garcia; siblings, Irma C. Johnson, and Salvador Castillo; grandchildren, great-grandchildren who are her pride and joy; nephews, nieces; as well as other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funerals & Cremations, 3502 US Hwy 83; where a Rosary for the Deceased will begin at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 5, 2025 with an 8:30 am departure from Nieto Funerals & Cremations to Our Lady of Gudalupe Catholic Church for a Service of Christian Burial at 9:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Angel Rodriguez, Jose Ledesma, Jerry Ramos, Oscar Garcia, Sean Garcia, Isahi Garcia, Raymond Johnson, and Robert Johnson.
