Omar Rubio, Jr. 30, passed away September 15, 2009. Mr. Rubio was preceded in death by his parents; Omar (Maricela) Rubio, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 12 years of marriage, Cynthia M. Rubio, children; Cynthia Maricela Rubio, Omar Rubio, III, Gael Rubio and Haziel Rubio, sister; Thalia Maricela Rubio and brother; Jose Daniel Rubio, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation was held Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A prayer service was officiated at 7 pm by Pastor Enrique Duarte. Public wake continued at Funerales Vasquez, Calle Obregon 3304, Col. Jardin in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico from 9 pm to 12 midnight. Interment will follow to Jardin de los Angeles in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
