Ovidio Antonio "El Coño" Vargas, 76, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 15, 2015. Mr. Vargas proudly served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his; parents, Ovidio (Candida) Vargas. Mr. Vargas is survived by his wife; Guadalupe M. Vargas for 45 years of marriage, children; Jesus (Crystal) Vargas, Aurelio (Martha) Vargas, Enid Vargas, Jose Manuel Vargas and family, Ovidio Antonio Vargas, Jr. and family, Josefina Everest and family, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister; Enid C. Font. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from the funeral home to San Francisco Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Veterans section at the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Luis Garcia, Aurelio Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Humberto Leal, Daniel Leal and Jesus Ovidio Vargas, Jr. Mr. Vargas will be burial with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 59 and The United States Army Flag detail.
