Obituary For Pedro "El Pirulin" Villarreal
Pedro "El Pirulin" Villarreal, Sr. 93, was called by the Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Mr. Villarreal was born on September 23, 1925. He was a proud American veteran (PFC) of WWII. He served in the Battle of the Bulge ,France, Italy, and Germany. He was proud to serve his country. Mr. Villarreal was a recipient of the Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars and 1 Silver Star.
Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his sons; Antonio Villarreal, Camilo Villarreal; 2 baby boys and one daughter, Francisca Villarreal.
He is survived by his; wife, Juanita R. Villarreal; children, Pedro (Alicia) Villarreal, Jr., Martha (Ricardo) Gonzalez, Sr., Jorge (Bonnie) Villarreal and Cecilia (Jose Luis) Garcia, Sr.; 11 grandchildren, Antonio Villarreal, Jr, Carlos Manuel Villarreal, Guadalupe Villarreal, Pedro Villarreal, III, Lori Resendez, Esteban E. Gonzalez, Ricardo J. Gonzalez, Jr., Camilo Villarreal, Jr., Cynthia Villarreal, Alejandra Y. Garcia and Jose Luis Garcia, Jr.; numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from the funeral home to Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Military honors will be presented after mass at the church. Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 of Laredo and flag presentation will be provided by the United States Army honor guard. Cremation services will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be; Antonio Villarreal, Carlos M. Villarreal, Guadalupe Villarreal, Pedro Villarreal, III, Esteban E. Gonzalez, Ricardo J. Gonzalez and Jose Luis Garcia. In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to Disabled American Veterans Charity at www.dav.org.
Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.
