Pedro Garza, 83, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 11, 2018. Mr. Garza was a United States Marine Corp Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents; Nicolas Garza and Francisca Garza, brother; Jose Garza, children; Pedro Garza, Jr., and Maria Antonia Garza Lara.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years of marriage; Vicenta G. Garza, children; Lydia (Leo) Elizondo, Alfredo (Mari) Garza, Alejandro Garza, Sara (Ramiro) Rodriguez and Sandra Garza; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings; Juventino Garza, Nicolas (Maria) Garza, Jr., Hortencia Padilla, and Celia Aguero; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A religious service will be officiated at 6:00 pm by Pastor Hector Patiño, followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery. Full Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59. Pallbearers will be: Alfredo Garza, Jr., Leo Elizondo, Rogelio Lara, Raul Lara, Tomas Alfaro, Ramiro Rodriguez, Jr., Reuben Rodriguez, and Sandra Garza.
