Pedro Maldonado, Jr., 64, passed away March 23, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Maldonado was preceded in death by his grandmother, Concepcion Gonzalez; parents, Pedro and Margarita Maldonado and by his sister, Irma Gaytan. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Maldonado; children, Pedro Maldonado, III, Rosalinda (Mayra Almanza) Maldonado; grandchild, Janelle Atherton; siblings, Roberto (Noelia) Maldonado, Juan Maldonado; niece, Marissa (Esteban) Santos; mother-in-law, Maria Santos Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 7 am to 10:40 am. Procession will proceed to Holy Redeemer Church for and 11:00 am Holy Mass. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Pedro Maldonado, III, Juan Manuel Maldonado, Esteban Santos, Ruberto Garcia, Ricardo Garcia and Rodolfo Garcia.
