Pedro Saavedra was born October 19, 1910 in Elgin, Texas and went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2011 at the age of 101. Mr. Saavedra is survived by his wife of 38 years, Santos Saavedra, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Mother Cabrini Church. Holy mass will commence at 11:00 am Interment will follow to Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
