Petra Alvarez, 79, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, November 10, 2019. Mrs. Alvarez is survived by; her husband of 59 years of marriage, Andres Alvarez; children, Andres (Rosa Nelly Cerda) Alvarez, Eva Alvarez, Enrique (Sonia) Alvarez, Rosa Maria Alvarez, Arturo (Mirna) Alvarez, Americo (Sonia) Alvarez, Maria Dolores Alvarez, Maria Lourdes Alvarez and Mayra Elizabeth Alvarez; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from the funeral home to Santo Niño Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
