Petra Gaitan Santos, 85, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 12, 2017. Mrs. Santos is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Maria Santos; parents, Merced and Otilia Gaitan; siblings, Roman Gaitan, Perfecto Gaitan, Juana Pedraza and grandson, Jose Luis Peña, Jr.

She is survived by her, children; Maria A. Santos, Jose Maria (Elsa) Santos, Jr., Marcos Santos, Magdalena Santos and Elsa (Jose Cecilio) Flores; grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Pedro Gaitan, Victoriano Gaitan and Juan Gaitan; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 from the funeral home to San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Pallbearers will be: Marcos Santos, Jose Cecilio Flores, Jose Armando Mosqueda, Jose Cecilio Flores, Jr., Roman Gaitan, Jr. ,Theodoro Peña and Roberto Cabello. Honorary pallbearer is David Gamez. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
