Petra T. Hernandez, 91, entered into eternal rest, Friday, April 22, 2022. Ms. Hernandez is survived by her children; Juana Gomez and Conrado De La Cruz, grandchildren; Cecilia (Fernando) Hernandez, Felipe (Rosa Ortiz) Gomez, Alejandra (Aurelio) Leija, Nicolas (Juana) Gomez, Sanjuana Gomez, Maria Genoveva Gomez and Cleopetra (Efrain Batres) Gomez; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Felipe Gomez, Nicolas Gomez, Efren Batres, Angel Gomez, Fernando Hernandez, Aurelio Leija, Steven Trujillo and Jose Antonio Trujillo, Jr.
