Obituary For Rafael Arizola
Rafael Arizola, 91, entered into eternal rest and was welcomed into open arms by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 7, 2014. A native of Laredo, Mr. Arizola joined the U.S. Army where he honorably served during WWII from 1943 to 1946. He later went on to work and retire from the L.F.D. Furniture Store. Mr. Arizola was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Julia Arizola, wife, Consuelo Arizola, son, Felipe Arizola, son-in-law, Jose Luis Magaña, brother, Antonio Arizola and sisters: Rosa Gomez and Susana Ramon. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Juanita A. Magaña, son, Rafael Arizola Jr, grandchildren: Felipe G. Arizola Jr, Javier (Aimee) Arizola, Mariela Arizola, Miguel A. Arizola, Jorge L. (Melissa) Magaña, Erica Magaña and Jose L. Magaña Jr, great-grandchildren: Gian Carlo, Avery, Audrey and Isaac Arizola, Georgie, Mikey, and Andy Magaña and Louie Cisneros, sister-in-law, Julia Inocencio, brother-in-law, Rodrigo Ramon of Robstown, TX, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Armando Hinojosa, Dr. Reynaldo Godines, Jordan Health Services, Dr. I. Mederos, and Best Healthcare for all of the attention given to Mr. Arizola while under their care. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2014, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Rafael Arizola, Jr., Felipe Arizola, Jr., Javier Arizola, Miguel Arizola, Jorge L. Magaña and Jose L. Magaña, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are: granddaughters, Erica Magaña & Mariela Arizola and great grandchildren, Georgie, Mikey, and Andy Magaña & Louie Cisneros. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.
