Rene Martinez, 71, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents Jesus Martinez and Angela L. Martinez and brother Alvaro Martinez.

He is survived by his siblings; Jesus (Cecilia) Martinez, Jr., Irene Martha Ortegon, Raquel Martinez, Rosario (James Joseph Shoemaker) Martinez, Gustavo (Maria) Martinez, Rosaura (Ricardo) Rivera and Angelica (Aurelio) Juarez; as well as numerous nices, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Nieto Funeral Home. A chapel service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
