Obituary For Ricardo "Corky" Jorge Hernandez

Ricardo "Corky" J. Hernandez, 63, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Mr. Hernandez was a baseball player at Christen Middle School and Martin High School. He is preceded in death by his parents; Roberto Hernandez and Olga Herrera Hernandez, siblings; Roberto Hernandez, Jr., Rosa Garcia, and Sandra Gutierrez, and son; Ricardo "Ricky" Hernandez, Jr.

He is survived by his beloved, Elsa "Elsie" G. Flores, siblings; Blanca Mata and Gloria Hernandez; grandson; Michael Hernandez; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Cremation services will be held at a later date.

Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.

    Blanca & Family, It is truly saddening to my brother (Hector) and I, as you know, Corky and Hector were true childhood friends. He has asked me to express his condolences as their friendship along with the memories will always be treasured. I personally remember Corky smiling all the time. It was such a pleasure to be around him. Again the childhood memories were awesome. Our deepest sympathy and we will pray for you and your entire family through this difficult time.
