Ricardo Javier Zavala Leija, 52, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Mr. Zavala is preceded in death by his mother; Amalia Leija and brother; Jaime Zavala.

He is survived by his wife; Blanca Segura, father; Maximino Zavala, siblings; Ana Laura Zavala, Diana (Refugio Alaniz) Zavala, Juanita (Angel De La Fuente) Zavala, Rafaela Zavala, Patricia (Juan Ortiz) Zavala and Juan Eduardo Zavala, numerous nieces and nephews including; Diana Palmas, Mariana Palmas, Estefany Hernandez, Gilberto Hernandez, Jesus Garza, Hugo Garza and Jose Luis Garza; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held at Panteon Del Norte in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico at a later date.
