Rita G. Martinez, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband; Nieves H. Martinez and brother; Jesus Cortez. She is survived by her children; Gloria (Juan) Morales and Marta (Jorge) Rendon, 5 grandchildren; Juan Jesus Morales, Carmen J. Morales, Estela Rendon, Jorge Rendon, II and Marissa Rendon, step children; Luis (Elia) Martinez, Tomas (Angela) Martinez and Joe Martinez, sister; Teresa Lorenzi and provider; Maria V. Torres. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Jorge Rendon, Jorge Rendon, II, Juan Morales, Juan Jesus Morales, Jorge Martinez and Luis Martinez, Jr. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
