Obituary For Roberto Elizondo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Roberto Elizondo, who left us peacefully on November 5, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born on February 3, 1955, Roberto lived a life full of dedication and service as a sheriff's deputy, proudly serving the Laredo community. His unwavering commitment to protecting and serving others will always be remembered by those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan & Maria Elizondo; siblings, Juan Elizondo Jr., Armando Elizondo, Bertha Davis, Arturo Elizondo, and Lilian Elizondo.

Roberto is survived by his children, Roberto Elizondo Jr. (Judy Elizondo), Zania Vasquez (Ruben Vasquez), Rebecca G. Miranda (Ernesto Miranda), and Victoria M. Quintana (Robert Quintana); grandchildren, Deziree Elizondo, Christian Elizondo, D'anna Elizondo, Ziana Mora, Josephine Briseno, Beth Briseno, Ernesto Miranda Jr., Madisson M. Miranda; siblings, Alicia Flores (Leo), Vidal Elizondo (Patricia) Elizondo, Olga Romanos (Jose Luis), Raquel Belmares (Nicolas), Rogelio Elizondo (Sara), Ricardo Elizondo, David Elizondo (Alejandra), Daniel Elizondo (Lisa), Rosalinda Molina (Refugio), Jorge Elizondo (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Juanita Elizondo, and Elva Elizondo; as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss him.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, November 07, 2025 at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Prayer service commencing at 7:00 pm. Cremation will occur at a later date.
