Roberto I. Linares, 73, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, December 18, 2016. Mr. Linares helped run and operate the family business, Linares Groceries, for more than 30 years. He recently retired from Laredo Independent School District. Mr. Linares is preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Arcadia Linares. He is survived by his wife of 38 years of marriage, Nora Linares, children; Gerardo Linares and Cynthia Linares, grandchildren; Marcos Nuñez, David Nuñez, Nicolas Nuñez, siblings; Raymundo Linares, Maria Garza, Juan Jose Linares and Ofelia Villarreal; as well as other family members and friends. Special thank you to friends Cesar and Juanita Casso. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory.
