On Saturday, October 30, 2010 our Heavenly Father called to his side, Rosa C. Contreras to join her husband, Felipe S. Contreras and son, Felipe S. Contreras, Jr. in his glory. Born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, she lived all of her life in Laredo. She passed away at a local hospital with her family at her side. Rosa C. Contreras was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Contreras is survived by her children; Maria Del Rosario Contreras, Carlos Contreras, Petra (Raul) Garcia and grandson, Felipe V. Garcia, other relatives and friends. A private cremation and interment for Mrs. Contreras will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations, in memory of Mrs. Rosa C. Contreras, be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Luis O. Mendoza, Dr. Mateo Reyes, and all the Community Home Center Staff, who tended to her medical needs during her lifetime.
