Rosa Maria Escobar, 70, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 31, 2016. Mrs. Escobar is preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo Barrera and Odilia Vidaurri Barrera; grandmother, Rosa Gonzalez; sisters, San Juanita Cruz, Eugenia Segura, Sylvia Arvizo; brothers, Leopoldo Barrera and Ricardo Barrera.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years of marriage, Jesus Escobar, Jr.; children, Jesus Escobar, III, Jorge Escobar, Diana (Martin) Tristan, Isabel (Juan Jose) Ramos; grandchildren, Cristina (Abel) Marquez, Juan Jose (Angelica) Ramos, Selene Ramos, Jesus Escobar, IV, Jorge Escobar, Jessenda Escobar, Jose Jesus Escobar, Jackie Escobar, Jessica Escobar, Jesse James Tristan, Scottie Escobar, Isaiah Escobar, Yaritza Ramos; great grandchildren, Abigail Rose Marquez, Abel Tristan Marquez; brothers, Jorge (Maria) Barrera, Roberto Barrera; sisters, Estela Cadena and Elva (Juan) Solano; her loving nieces, Gloria Jimenez, Esperanza Guerra and Frances Veliz; as well as other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from the funeral home to Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Cremation services will follow.

Pallbearers will be: Jesus Escobar, III, Jorge Escobar, Martin Tristan, Juan Jose Ramos, Juan Jose Ramos, Jr., Alejandro Arvizo, Raul Arvizo and Luis David Arvizo.
