Rosendo "Chendo" Contreras, 92, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Mr. Contreras is survived by his children; Francisco (Isabel) De La Cruz, Rosendo (Dolores) Contreras, Jaime (Madelene) Contreras, Gerardo (Mary) Contreras, Roberto (Angela) Contreras, Ramon (Esperanza) Ballina, and Daniel (Raquel) Nuñez; 27 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, where a chapel service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery.
