Ruben Alvarez, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Mr. Alvarez is survived by; wife, Maria Guadalupe Alvarez; children, Francisco Alvarez, Sandra (Tomas Rodriguez) Alvarez, Consuelo (Alejandro Velasquez) Alvarez, Fernando (Marisol Lemus) Alvarez, Rogelio (Brenda Escobedo) Alvarez, Rocio (Samuel Ramirez) Alvarez, Sonia (Carlos Chavez) Alvarez, Daniel Ramos, Arturo Ramos, Ruth Alvarez, Carmen (Arturo Santos) Alvarez, Eloisa Alvarez, Angelica Alvarez, Ruben (Elvia) Alvarez, Patricia (Eddie) Ochoa and Lourdes (Jesus Rara) Alvarez; 40 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe (Raul) Olvera, Carmen Vela, Jesus (Rosie) Alvarez and Ernesto (Mercedes) Alvarez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm. Cremation will be at a later date.
