Ruben Vela, 45, passed away, Saturday, December 12, 2009. Mr. Vela was preceded in death by his parents Jose Tito Vela, Jr. and Maria Antonieta Cruz Vela. He is survived by his wife; Carmen Fraga Vela, daughter; Crystal Lopez, granddaughter; Crystelle Celis, sisters and brothers; Annette Vela, Jo Ann Vela, Joseph Vela, John Vela and Roberto Vela, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 with visitation starting at 8 am. Chapel service will be at 12:30 pm. Deacon Jose Rodriguez will officiate. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
