Rufina Alva, 89, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 26, 2014. Mrs. Alva is preceded in death by her husband: Pedro Alva, brothers; Guillermo Garcia, Antonio Garcia, Macario Garcia, Edmundo Garcia, sister; Teodila Botello. She is survived by her children; Eusebio Alva, Tomas Alva, Pedro Alva, Arturo Alva, Enrique (Graciela) Alva, brother; Santos Garcia, as well as nephews, nieces and other family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 01, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 02, 2014, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Erick Mendez, Brandon Mendez, Jonathan Mendez, Jose Alva, Juan Cruz, and Rudy Alva.
