San Juana B. Tellez, 67, entered into eternal rest Monday, November 9, 2015. Mrs. Tellez enjoyed her word puzzles, watching her favorite shows; Walker Texas Ranger, game shows, wrestling and an avid Lakers fan. She truly loved her grandkids even as she screamed and yelled at them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Overall she was an amazing strong and stubborn woman.

Mrs. Tellez is preceded in death by her parents, Fortunato and Felicita Bernal and brother, Margarito Bernal. She is survived by her husband of 45 years of marriage, Isidoro Tellez, Sr.; children, Isidoro (Gabriela) Tellez, Jr., Genaro Tellez, Heather (Robert) Hernandez, Jennifer (Elias) Diaz, Michael Tellez, Felicia (Roberto) Salinas; 9 grandchildren, Isabelle Tellez, Isidoro Tellez, III, Ayden J. Tellez, Roberto Hernandez, Jr., Ronaldo Hernandez, Layla X. Diaz, Hayley Alvarez, Zoey B. Salinas; siblings, Irineo Bernal, Justino Bernal, Reynaldo Bernal, Fortunato Jose Bernal, Oliver Salinas and Deacon Anastacio Bernal.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 13, 2015, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Isidoro Tellez, Jr., Genaro Tellez, Robert Hernandez, Elias Diaz, Michael Tellez and Roberto Salinas.
