San Juana “Juany” Morales Santos, 62 passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009 surrounded by her beloved son, family and dear friends. Mrs. Morales was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She owned and operated NOVEDADES JUANY in downtown Laredo for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her brother Emeterio Santos. Mrs. Morales is survived by her; son, Alberto (Crystal) Morales; grandchildren, Alberto Morales, Jr., Johanna Rochel Morales, Oscar Alejandro Morales and Dayanara Morales; brothers and sisters, Cruz Santos, Asuncion Santos, Sergio Santos, Ermelnida Santos and Celia Santos. Visitation was held Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Holy Redeemer Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Alberto Morales and pallbearers will be Cesar Santillan, Alejandro Gomez, Javier Ardon, Daniel Dilley, Cruz Santos, Asencion Santos, Sergio Santos and Javier Vela.
