Obituary For Santos Saavedra

Santos Saavedra, 95, of Laredo, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Mrs. Saavedra is preceded in death by her husband; Pedro Saavedra, parents; Andres and Benancia Perez, brothers; Antonio Perez and Alfredo Perez, sisters; Josefina Barrera and Margarita Lara. She is survived by her brother; Andres (+Irma) Perez, sisters; Leonor (Genaro) Rodriguez, Elena (+Refugio) Godina and Rosa (+Ruben) De Leon.

Her greatest joy was taking care of her nieces, nephews, parents and was devoted to her husband. Those who loved her dearly will never forget her undying love and caring for all.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 1, 2022 from the funeral home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at Memorial Gardens of Laredo Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.
