Severo Ramon Flores entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 6, 2012 with his wife by his side. He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas on February 28, 1944 to Severo and Elvira Flores. Mr. Flores graduated from Martin High School in 1963 and served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to his honorable discharge in 1966. Mr. Flores was a proud faculty member of Martin High School from 1976 to 2007 where he was the welding instructor. Mr. Flores was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th degree Knight. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend who will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Severo and Elvira Flores. Mr. Flores is survived by his spouse of 46 years, Francisca Flores; children, Deborah I. Flores, Gabriella A. (Antonio) Salinas, Hector J. (Dolores) Flores, and Lidia “Marcie” (Michael +) Deschampe; grandchildren, Angelo Flores, Andres and Aixta Lares; Ashleigh, Noelani, and Kaitlin Salinas; Aryana, Adrian and Jacobo Flores; Netanya Flores and Richard Deschampe. He is also survived by his siblings, Rodolfo J. (Guadalupe) Flores, Lidia (Fernando +) Flores, Elvira (Jose) Esparza and numerous other relatives and close friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm.
