Obituary For Teofilo Valadez

Teofilo Valadez, 84, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at a local hospital. Our father was a hardworking, loving husband who dedicated himself to preserving the harmony amongst the people around him. He made us laugh and he kept us aware of the meaning of hard work and the obligation to life and family. That is the way he lived; that is the treasure he left us. Mr. Valadez was preceded in death by his wife; Maria De La Luz Valadez, brother; Juan Valadez and sister-in-law; Juana Valadez. He is survived by his loving children; Eduardo (Elvia) Valadez, Raul (Leticia) Valadez, Veroncia (Oscar) Martinez, Sylvia (Leopoldo) Lecea, Jorge Valadez, Enrique (Ana) Valadez, David Valadez and Adriana Valadez, 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from Nieto Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.

He was a wonderful grandfather. My sisters, brother, cousins, and I were blessed to have had such a careing and loving grandfather. He will be missed. Gandpa and grandma were always there for us. Even though they are not by our side this holiday, they are in our hearts. A special thank you to my aunt Bori and uncle David, who are like a sister and brother to us..I will never forget the love and support you showed Grandma and Grandpa, they couldn't have done without you guys, I am forever grateful...
