Tomas “Don Tomas” Muniz, 79, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008. Mr. Muniz is survived by his wife of 51 years of marriage, Minerva P. Muniz, children; Isidro (Rosario) Muniz, Tomas (Griselda) Muniz, Jr., Maria Teresa (Ruben) Atilano and Susana (Carlos) Cadena, grandchildren; Jose Isidro Muniz, Jr., Alfonzo Muniz, Samantha Muniz, Tomas Edwin Muniz, Kasandra Muniz, Juan De Dios Muniz, Jazmin Atilano, Carolina Atilano, Barbara Atilano, Misael Atilano, Ruben Atilano, Jr., Jessica Cadena, Carlos Moises and Rebecca Cadena, brother; Ricardo (Emilia) Muniz. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory from 4 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Santa Nino Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Isidro Muniz, Tomas Muniz, Ruben Atilano, Carlos Cadena, Jose Muniz, Erasmo Muniz, Ricardo Muniz, Jr., and Tomas Edwin Muniz.
