Vicente Vaquera, 89, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007. Mr. Vaquera was preceded in death by his wife: Isabel M. Vaquera and daughter: Guadalupe Medina. He is survived by his children: Margarita Hernandez, Manuel (Christina) Vaquera, Irma Hilda (Ernesto) Vaquera, Juan Ramon (Alicia) Vaquera, Rosa Castro Vaquera, Gloria (Omaro) Garcia, Vicente (Carmen) Vaquera, Jose A. (Laura) Vaquera, Bertha Alicia (Oscar) Mendoza, Armando (Rosalva) Vaquera and Alfredo Vaquera, 67 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 4pm – 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
