Yolanda Lopez Fuentes

Joins her husband Andres Fuentes, Sr., her parents; Jose Lopez, Sr., and Dominga Contreras and her brother; Juan Lopez.

She is survived by her three children; Juanito Fuentes, Tammy Fuentes, and Andres Fuentes, Jr., and daughter in law Christy Tellez, whom she loved very much. her siblings Ramon Lopez and wife Amelia Gloria Basaldua, Guadalupe Morales and husband Alberto, Jose Lopez, Jr., and wife Margarita.

In her youth she worked and traveled with her family as migrants she said it was never too late to make a dream come true. She juggled family, job (sometimes 2), and university courses. She graduated from TAMIU with a B.A. and a minor in Business. After 30+ years with L.I.S.D she retired in 2008.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and never lost faith. She was tough but kind, poor but generous, a caring wife and a fantastic mother.

She will be greatly and forever missed.
